Editor's Note: We first told you about the One World Youth Project in April (missed it? click here). Since April, OWYP has grown adding more video episodes from their student leaders and expanding their program.
A guest post by Anjali Daryanani.
The world has changed. The global economy is flattening, there is unprecedented migration and we are experiencing a digital revolution, yet schools around the globe are not preparing youth for an interconnected world. Those who are prepared to operate within this reality may see interconnection as an opportunity. Those who are not prepared may see this changing landscape as a threat.
One World Youth Project (OWYP) is an education not-for-profit that has built an internationally adoptable Global Education program to solve this problem. OWYP works with universities around the world and trains university students to lead a global competence curriculum in local secondary schools to connect schools internationally and build intercultural understanding and local leadership.
