I will bet there are thousands out there, but a colleague made me aware of this one. It's all about networking, folks! The author of the blog seems to have a real love for children's literature, so check this one out.
For years, I taught seventh grade communication arts. Of course, we called it English or language arts back then. . . My favorite adolescent novel to teach was The Outsiders. Old, but a classic in my mind. Any other favs to mention? I am totally out of touch with new, contemporary stories for children and pre-teens.

Not exactly literature but I have to say I was completely addicted to the Trixie Belden series when I was a kid. I read the complete series every summer for years. I actually read a big chunk a few years ago as well. I still love who-dunnit type books, probably because of Trixie, Honey, Diana, Jim, Brian and Mart. (Impressed?)
