    An extra $10,000......to retire?

In this article from USA Today, an anti-union lawyer is looking for the worst teachers in the country to give $10,000 to to retire.  To get the moolah, teachers would have to submit to being profiled on a website with stories of the issues that forced them to retire.  What do you think of this idea?

Heck! You don't even have to retire. You just have to quit! What a severance package! Imagine have ten grand to exit the profession and find another line of work. . .

I couldn't believe this when I read it and had to go to the story. I thought the same thing as in the first paragraph--sounds like bad reality tv. My favorite line "We're not trying to humiliate anyone," Berman says. If that is the case then why not just give them the $10K to quit, why require the sordid details on the website?
